PANTAR, Lanao del Norte — The Office of Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Member of Parliament (MP) Said Shiek conducted on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 a ‘house to house’ validation of beneficiaries in this town who will receive rice support from the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
The Office of MP Shiek together with the Momungan Youth Action Network (MYAN) volunteers led the ‘house to house’ validation of pre-listed beneficiaries who are set to receive one half sack (25 kilograms) of rice through the Project TABANG Relief Operation for COVID-19, an initiative of the BARMM government.
In a courtesy visit prior to the validation, MP Shiek expressed to Mayor Jabbar D. Tago the sincerity of the Bangsamoro government to continuously support communities in the BARMM and its outside core.
“We discussed details of the upcoming relief distribution,” MP Shiek said.
As a response, Mayor Tago extended his appreciation for the support of the BARMM government and for the hard work exerted by the validation team.
“Thank you so much for the aid Bangsamoro government. This would mean a lot to our people since we are currently experiencing the effects of this pandemic crisis,” Mayor Tago said.
