COTABATO CITY — Aside from passing important legislative measures, the Bangsamoro Parliament continued to provide assistance to its constituents through its Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) projects.
Some members of the Parliament with the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) led the groundbreaking ceremony of infrastructure projects in Maguindanao and Lanao del Sur, which comprises women ‘s multipurpose building, daycare learning center, and children’s playground.
The construction of said facilities is implemented under TDIF projects of Diamila Disimban-Ramos, Sittie Shahara Mastura, and Marjanie Mimbantas.
The office of MP Ramos allotted her TDIF for the construction of two-storey cooperative and women multipurpose buildings in Pikit, North Cotabato, Tamparan, Lanao del Sur and Datu Abdullah Sangki, Maguindanao
“Sa pamamagitan nito at sa agapay ng ating lokal na pamahalaan at ng Bangsamoro Government, mayroon na kayong masasandalang institusyon na magpapalawak ng mga oportunidad para matulungan kayo sa inyong kabuhayan,”Ramos said during the groundbreaking activity in Pikit.
She said that the mentioned projects demonstrate the Bangsamoro Transition Authority’s (BTA) commitment towards a ‘functional and inclusive’ government.
“Halos lahat ng program sa Barangay Development Plan sa Batulawan ay nandito na, naibigay na rin samin. Kaya maraming salamat sa ating mga leaders sa BARMM pati kay MP Jam sa lahat ng tulong para sa amin. Di namin ito sasayangin,” Bailana Matalam, village chief of Batulawan, Pikit said as she expressed her gratitude to the BTA.
While MP Mastura’s office installed solar lights in the municipalities of Upi, Sultan Kudarat, and Buldon in Maguindanao. They also led the groundbreaking of children’s playgrounds in Mother and Northern Kabuntalan.
